Beginning in early summer and lasting until fall, strong spikes of purple flowers arise from large, rounded clumps of green, long and narrow, textured leaves. Great for cut flowers, borders, or container plantings. Deer resistant. A cousin to Lambs Ear (Stachys byzantina) , but very different in its characteristics.
