Sedum (Sedum) kamtschaticum (Russian Stonecrop)

Also known as Orange Stonecrop. Fleshy foliage is deep green and scalloped. Useful as a border or groundcover. Long bloom season of showy yellow flowers appear in spring and summer for added ornamental value. Drought tolerant once established. Needs well drained soil and full sun. Is of the succulent family. Pest resistant.

Also known as Showy Stonecrop/Sedum. Attractive gray-green foliage. Flowers appear above foliage in late Summer/early Fall: large pink flowers turn to salmon and then to russet. Useful for borders, edging and rock gardens. Easy to grow. Tolerates many conditions including moist soils.

Large, thick clusters of neon bright pink flowers in the early fall (August – September). Leave spent heads on plants for winter interest and food for birds. Substantial clumps of succulent, light gray-green foliage add texture to any garden. Drought resistant. Very attractive to butterflies.

Sedum (Sedum) spurium 'Dragon's Blood' (Dragon’s Blood Stonecrop)

Also known as Two-Row Stonecrop. Vigorous spreader forms dense mats. Trailing reddish stems root readily. Grows in dry soil. Purplish-bronze foliage emerges with red-edges, and turns deeper red in the fall. Brilliant red flowers contrast nicely with the foliage in summer. Star-shaped flowers adorn the low flower clusters. Quickly forms a dense mat for a border, edging or a superb groundcover.

Rosy pink flowers in the late summer, that age to a salmon-bronze and coppery red. Leave flower heads on plants to provide winter interest. Drought tolerant. Thick, succulent, blue-green foliage. Excellent for all beds and borders. Good cut or dried flower.

Stachys (Betony) monieri 'Hummelo' (Alpine Betony)

Beginning in early summer and lasting until fall, strong spikes of purple flowers arise from large, rounded clumps of green, long and narrow, textured leaves.  Great for cut flowers, borders, or container plantings.  Deer resistant.   A cousin to Lambs Ear (Stachys byzantina), but very different in its characteristics.

A bushy, clump-forming, compact cultivar. Dense, deep purple blue, candle-like flowers from June through September. Narrow, lance shaped, dark green, glossy foliage. Deadhead to prolong blooming. Good drainage is essential. Excellent as groundcover, in masses, or in the perennial border. Tolerates light shade.
