Echinacea (Coneflower) purpurea 'Magnus' (Magnus Purple Coneflower)

Vigorous summer blooming perennial that prefers well drained soils, must have good winter drainage. Good in borders and natural plantings. Daisy-like flowers with purple petals and orange brown raised centers. Tolerates heat, drought and wind. 1998 PPA Perennial Plant of the Year.

Echinacea (Coneflower) x. 'Balsomcor' (Sombrero™ Hot Coral Coneflower)

A Darwin Perennials introduction. Very well branched series with compact upright habit. Sturdy plants have proven hardiness for years of enjoyment in the garden. Long flowering period that starts extra early. Very floriferous with flat faced, 3″ bright coral orange petals. Deadhead to prolong flower production.

Echinacea (Coneflower) x. 'Balsomred' (Sombrero™ Salsa Red Coneflower)

Well-branched, sturdy and compact plants featuring a high bud count.  This selection produces very large, single flowers with bright red overlapping petals surrounding a large brown cone.  Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers.  Attracts butterflies.  Excellent for cutting.  Bloom midsummer and continue for months, if faded flowers are regularly removed.  Dried seed heads also add interest to the winter garden.
