Hosta (Plantain Lily) x. "Patriot' (Patriot Plantain Lily)

A tetraploid sport of Hosta ‘Francee’ with a much wider pure white margin and dark green center. One of the most distinctive Hostas. Ovate leaves. The 3′ wide clumps are topped with medium-lavender flowers in early summer. 1997 American Hosta ‘Hosta of the Year.

Hosta (Plantain Lily) tardiana 'Halcyon' (Halcyon Plantain Lily)

One of the best and most popular of the blue Hostas. Bell shaped, lilac flowers with spear-shaped, ribbed chalky blue leaves. Dependable. Best in moist, rich, well-drained soil. Useful for edging, border accent, groundcover and naturalizing. Has good slug resistance.

2002 Hosta of the year. A reverse variegated sport of H. ‘Fragrant Bouquet’ . Vigorous growing clump (to 4′ wide). Oval to heart shaped, large, chartreuse-gold foliage with a wide green edge. Giant-sized Hosta with pale lavender, fragrant flowers in late Summer. Sun tolerant.
